Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 55 — Sañjaya’s Report on Pāṇḍava Readiness and Arjuna’s Dhvaja
उस समय स्वर्णमय कवच धारण किये अर्जुन हमें बिजलीके प्रकाशसे सुशोभित मेघके समान दिखायी दे रहे थे। उन्होंने सब ओरसे उन मन्त्रोंका सम्यक् चिन्तन करके हर्षसे उल्लसित होकर मुझसे कहा-- ।।
sañjaya uvāca | pūrvarūpam idaṃ paśya vayaṃ jeṣyāma sañjaya | bībhatsur mā yathovāca tathā vaimy aham apy uta ||
Sañjaya dijo: En aquel momento, Arjuna, revestido de una armadura de oro, se veía como una nube embellecida por el fulgor del rayo. Tras meditar debidamente aquellos mantras desde todos los lados, y exultante de alegría, me dijo: “Mira esto como un presagio previo, Sañjaya: sin duda venceremos en la guerra. La señal de esa victoria ya se manifiesta; mírala tú también.” Oh rey, tal como Bibhatsu (Arjuna) me habló, así lo entiendo yo también.
