This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it indicates that the chapter focused on Sanatsujāta’s discourse has concluded. The ethical frame is that Sanatsujāta’s instruction functions as a moral and spiritual grounding within the larger crisis of political decision-making and impending war.
The text signals the end of Adhyāya 44 within the Sanatsujāta Parva of the Udyoga Parva. It closes the instructional segment attributed to Sanatsujāta and prepares the reader to move back into the broader narrative of negotiations, counsel, and preparations leading toward the Kurukṣetra conflict.
