Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 30: Sañjaya’s Departure and Yudhiṣṭhira’s Commission of Greetings
भ्राता भ्रातरमन्वेतु पिता पुत्रेण युज्यताम् | स्मयमाना: समायान्तु पञ्चाला: कुरुभि: सह
bhrātā bhrātaram anvetu pitā putreṇa yujyatām | smayamānāḥ samāyāntu pañcālāḥ kurubhiḥ saha |
Yudhiṣṭhira dijo: «Que el hermano vaya al encuentro del hermano, y que el padre se reúna con el hijo. Que los Pañcālas se junten con los Kurus, sonriendo al verse. Éste es mi deseo: ver a los Kauravas y a los Pañcālas con el cuerpo ileso. Querido—oh Duryodhana, el mejor de los Bhāratas—esfuérzate para que todos nos aquietemos y nos reconciliemos, con el corazón alegre».
