ततस्तत्प्रतिघातार्थ ब्राह्ममेवास्त्रमुत्तमम् । मया प्रयुक्त जज्वाल युगान्तमिव दर्शयत्,तब उस अस्त्रका निवारण करनेके लिये मैंने भी उत्तम ब्रह्मास्त्रका ही प्रयोग किया। मेरा वह अस्त्र प्रलयकालका-सा दृश्य उपस्थित करता हुआ प्रज्वलित हो उठा
tatastatpratighātārthaṁ brāhmam evāstram uttamam | mayā prayuktaṁ jajvāla yugāntam iva darśayat ||
Entonces, para contrarrestar aquel mismo golpe, empleé también el supremo Brahmāstra. Liberada por mí, la arma ardió con fulgor, ofreciendo una visión como el fin de una era: un despliegue apocalíptico que señala cómo la escalada de la guerra puede convocar fuerzas más allá del control humano ordinario.
