Agni-hymn, discovery of Indra, and the Nahuṣa threat
एवं स्तुतो हव्यवाट् स भगवान् कविरुत्तम: । बृहस्पतिमथोवाच प्रीतिमान् वाक्यमुत्तमम् | दर्शयिष्यामि ते शक्रं सत्यमेतद् ब्रवीमि ते
evaṁ stuto havyavāṭ sa bhagavān kavir uttamaḥ | bṛhaspatim athovāca prītimān vākyam uttamam | darśayiṣyāmi te śakraṁ satyam etad bravīmi te ||
Así alabado, el dios del fuego—portador de la oblación, el bienaventurado y el más excelso vidente—se complació y dijo a Bṛhaspati estas palabras sublimes: «¡Oh brahmán! Te mostraré a Śakra (Indra). Esto te lo digo en verdad».
