मदद्वितीयेन पार्थन वैरं व: सव्यसाचिना । स सत्यसंगरो भूत्वा पाण्डवार्थे पराक्रमी,“तुमने यह भी कहा था कि '“कौरवो! मैं जिनका सहायक हूँ, उन्हीं सव्यसाची अर्जुनके साथ तुम्हारा वैर बढ़ रहा है, इत्यादि। अतः अब सत्यप्रतिज्ञ होकर पाण्डवोंके लिये पराक्रमी बनो

Transliteration

mad-dvitīyena pārthān vai raṁ vaḥ savyasācinā | sa satya-saṅgaro bhūtvā pāṇḍavārthe parākramī ||

Translation

Sañjaya dijo: «Conmigo como su segundo, oh hijos de Pṛthā, vuestra enemistad con Savyasācin (Arjuna) se está intensificando en verdad. Por tanto, volveos firmes en un propósito veraz e inquebrantable, y sed valientes por la causa de los Pāṇḍavas».
