Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 130: Kuntī’s Instruction on Rājadharma and Daṇḍanīti
Extraordinary perception (divine vision) is portrayed as a gift of grace enabling insight into a higher reality (viśvarūpa). The ethical implication is that receiving greater vision should lead to greater responsibility and right judgment, not merely amazement.
In the course of the Udyoga Parva narration, it is stated that Dhṛtarāṣṭra receives two supernatural eyes from Vāsudeva so that he may behold the Lord’s universal form (viśvarūpa).
