ययातिपतन-कारणम् (The Cause of Yayāti’s Fall) — Nārada’s Counsel on Pride and Reconciliation
यथा सत्येन मे धर्मो यथा सत्येन पावक: । प्रीतः शतक्रतुश्चैव तेन सत्येन खं ब्रज
yathā satyena me dharmo yathā satyena pāvakaḥ | prītaḥ śatakratuś caiva tena satyena khaṃ braja ||
Nārada dijo: «Así como mi dharma se sostiene en la verdad, y así como el Fuego (Agni) mismo es sustentado por la verdad; así como Śatakratu (Indra) también se complace en la verdad—por esa misma verdad, ve al cielo (alcanza el reino celestial).»
