भविष्यति जयो देवा: शक्रस्थ मम तेजसा । अदृश्यश्ष प्रवेक्ष्यामि वज्ञे हास्यायुधोत्तमे,देवताओ! मेरे तेजसे इन्द्रकी विजय होगी। मैं इनके उत्तम आयुध वज्रमें अदृश्यभावसे प्रवेश करूँगा
bhaviṣyati jayo devāḥ śakrastha mama tejasā | adṛśyaḥ praviśyāmi vajre hāsyāyudhottame ||
Śalya dijo: «Oh dioses, por el poder de mi propio resplandor, la victoria de Śakra (Indra) se cumplirá sin falta. Haciéndome invisible, entraré en el vajra—el rayo, su arma suprema—para que prevalezca».
