ततः सूर्यस्य भवने चन्द्रस्य भवने तथा

Luego llegaron a la morada del Sol, y asimismo a la morada de la Luna, avanzando por los reinos celestes en el debido orden, pues los frutos de la rectitud conducen a los seres a estaciones más altas.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores the idea that the cosmos is morally structured: righteous action (dharma) bears fruit as orderly ascent through higher realms, symbolized by reaching the abodes of the Sun and Moon.
Vaiśampāyana describes the onward movement through heaven: the travelers proceed to the Sun’s abode and similarly to the Moon’s abode, marking successive stages in a celestial journey.
