तथा ददर्श पाज्चालीं कमलोत्पलमालिनीम् | वपुषा स्वर्गमाक्रम्य तिष्ठन्तीमर्कवर्चसम्
tathā dadarśa pāñcālīṃ kamalotpalamālinīm | vapuṣā svargam ākramya tiṣṭhantīm arkavarcasaṃ ||
Entonces vio a Draupadī, la princesa de Pāñcāla, adornada con guirnaldas de lotos y nenúfares. Por el resplandor de su propia forma divina parecía impregnar y eclipsar el mismo reino del cielo, erguida allí con un fulgor semejante al del Sol—señal de la consumación de su firmeza y del orden moral que honra la entereza y la integridad tras el sufrimiento.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores karmic fruition and dharmic vindication: one who has endured hardship with steadfastness and integrity is ultimately honored, here symbolized by Draupadī’s sun-like radiance in Svarga.
In the Svargarohana episode, the narrator describes a vision of Draupadī in heaven—garlanded with lotuses, standing in divine brilliance that seems to pervade and outshine the celestial realm.
