Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 2 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry for His Kin and the Vision of a Punitive Realm
The verse highlights dharmic integrity expressed as loyalty and moral consistency: Yudhiṣṭhira advances not for solitary reward but with concern for the fate and presence of his companions, implying that righteousness includes solidarity with the virtuous.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Yudhiṣṭhira and a celestial messenger proceed together toward the place where the foremost heroes—his brothers such as Bhīma—are located, continuing the Svargarohana sequence of encountering the Pāṇḍavas’ final destinies.
