राजवृत्त-रक्षा-प्रणिधि-षाड्गुण्योपदेशः
Royal Conduct, Protection, Intelligence, and Policy Measures
यजन्ते च महायज्ैस्त्रयो वर्णा: पृथग्विधै: । युक्ताश्नाधीयते विद्यां यदा रक्षति भूमिप:
yajante ca mahāyajñais trayo varṇāḥ pṛthagvidhaiḥ | yuktāś cādhīyate vidyāṃ yadā rakṣati bhūmipaḥ ||
Dijo Vasumanā: Cuando el rey protege el reino, los tres órdenes sociales celebran grandes sacrificios de diversas clases y, con atención disciplinada, se entregan al estudio del saber. El verso presenta la protección real como la condición que permite florecer la religión pública y la educación en una sociedad ordenada.
