शोकाकुल-युधिष्ठिरं प्रति कुन्त्याः कालोचितोपदेशः | Kuntī’s Timely Counsel to the Grief-Stricken Yudhiṣṭhira

भवत्या गूढमन्त्रत्वात्‌ पीडितो<स्मीत्युवाच ताम्‌

vaiśampāyana uvāca — bhavatyā gūḍha-mantratvāt pīḍito ’smīty uvāca tām |

Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Afligido porque mantuviste este asunto como un secreto oculto, he sido hecho sufrir», le dijo a ella. Al oírlo, los ojos de Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira se llenaron de lágrimas; el dolor agitó sus sentidos, y aquel rey justo habló a su madre: «Madre, al ocultar esta verdad confidencial, me has causado un gran tormento».
