Kṛṣṇa’s Dhyāna and the Prompt to Question Bhīṣma (कृष्णध्यानं भीष्मप्रश्नप्रेरणा च)

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharmic conduct through prompt, competent service: when a rightful instruction is received, one should act swiftly, carefully, and with respectful humility—here shown by Dāruka preparing the chariot and reporting to Kṛṣṇa with folded hands.

After hearing Sātyaki’s words, Dāruka immediately prepares an exceptionally ornate chariot—gold-adorned and gem-studded—and then informs Kṛṣṇa, signaling readiness for the next action in the unfolding events.
