युधिष्ठिरस्य राज्याभिषेकः | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Royal Consecration

काज्चनोदुम्बरास्तत्र राजता: पृथिवीमया: । पूर्णकुम्भा: सुमनसो लाजा बहींषि गोरसम्‌

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

kāñcanoḍumbarās tatra rājatāḥ pṛthivīmayāḥ |

pūrṇakumbhāḥ sumanasaḥ lājā barhīṃṣi gorasam ||

Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Allí reunieron los auspiciosos requisitos del rito: vasijas e instrumentos de oro, de plata e incluso de barro; cántaros (kumbha) colmados hasta el borde; flores fragantes; granos tostados (lājā); manojos de hierba sagrada darbha; y leche de vaca. Estos objetos, recogidos como materiales de consagración, anuncian una empresa solemne regida por el dharma, donde se privilegian la pureza, la abundancia y el procedimiento correcto por encima del mero lucimiento.»
