तं स तेन यथोद्दिष्टं नागं विप्रेण ब्राह्मण: । पर्यपृच्छद्‌ यथान्यायं श्रुत्वैव च जगाम स:

Transliteration

taṃ sa tena yathoddiṣṭaṃ nāgaṃ vipreṇa brāhmaṇaḥ | paryapṛcchad yathānyāyaṃ śrutvaiva ca jagāma saḥ ||

Translation

Dijo Bhīṣma: El brahmán, conforme a lo indicado por el sabio, preguntó del modo debido por aquella serpiente de la que el huésped le había hablado. Y, tras oír el relato tal como fue dicho, prosiguió su camino.
