anena vidhinā kārṣṇis tad ahaḥ śeṣam acyutaḥ | tāṃ ca rātriṃ nṛpakule vartayāmāsa bhārata bharatanandana ||

Bhishma dijo: «De este modo, oh descendiente de Bharata, Śuka—que jamás se aparta de los límites de la corrección—pasó el resto de aquel día y toda la noche, permaneciendo en la residencia real.»
