Śuka’s Guṇa-Transcendence and Vyāsa’s Consolation (शुकगति-वर्णनम्)
प्रधानो नाम राजर्षिविर्यक्त ते श्रोत्रमागत: । कुले तस्य समुत्पन्नां सुलभां नाम विद्धि माम्,आपने प्रधान नामक राजर्षिका नाम अवश्य सुना होगा। मैं उन्हींके कुलमें उत्पन्न हुई हूँ। आपको मालूम होना चाहिये कि मेरा नाम सुलभा है
pradhāno nāma rājarṣir vyakta te śrotram āgataḥ | kule tasya samutpannāṃ sulabhāṃ nāma viddhi mām ||
Bhīṣma dijo: «Sin duda has oído hablar del sabio real llamado Pradhāna. Sabe que yo me llamo Sulabhā, nacida en su linaje.»
भीष्य उवाच
