तथैव वागुरां छिक्त्वा बलवन्तो यथा मृगा: । प्राप्तुयुर्विमलं मार्ग विमुक्ता: सर्वबन्धनै:,राजन! इसी प्रकार जैसे बलवान्‌ मृग जाल तोड़कर सारे बन्धनोंसे मुक्त हो निर्विघ्न मार्गपर चले जाते हैं, वैसे ही योगबलसे सम्पन्न योगी पुरुष लोभजनित सब बन्धनोंको तोड़कर परम निर्मल कल्याणमय मार्गको प्राप्त कर लेते हैं

Transliteration

tathaiva vāgurāṁ chittvā balavanto yathā mṛgāḥ | prāptuyur vimalaṁ mārgaṁ vimuktāḥ sarvabandhanaiḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma dijo: «Oh rey, así como los ciervos vigorosos, tras desgarrar la red del cazador, quedan libres de toda atadura y avanzan por un camino sin obstáculos, así también los yoguis, dotados del poder del yoga, rompen los lazos nacidos de la codicia y alcanzan la senda supremamente pura y auspiciosa».
