रन्तिदेवेन लोकेष्टा सिद्धि: प्राप्ता महात्मना । फलपपत्रैरथो मूलैर्मुनीनर्चितवांश्ष सः,महात्मा राजा रन्तिदेवने फल-मूल और पत्तोंसे ऋषि-मुनियोंका पूजन किया था। इसीसे उन्हें वह सिद्धि प्राप्त हुई, जिसकी सब लोग अभिलाषा रखते हैं
rāntidevena lokeṣṭā siddhiḥ prāptā mahātmanā | phala-pattrair atho mūlaiḥ munīn arcitavān saḥ ||
El magnánimo rey Rantideva alcanzó aquella perfección que todos en el mundo anhelan. La obtuvo honrando a los sabios con ofrendas sencillas—frutos, hojas y raíces—mostrando que la reverencia sincera y la hospitalidad desinteresada, y no el lujo, son las que dan el fruto espiritual más alto.
