तस्मै सो5थासन दत्त्वा पाद्यमर्घ्य तथैव च । अबवीद् ब्राह्मणो वाक््यं कृत्वा कुशलसंविदम्
Transliteration
tasmai so 'thāsanaṃ dattvā pādyam arghyaṃ tathaiva ca | abravīd brāhmaṇo vākyaṃ kṛtvā kuśala-saṃvidam ||
Translation
Tras ofrecerle un asiento, junto con el agua para lavar los pies y la ofrenda de honor acostumbrada, el brāhmaṇa habló entonces—después de haber intercambiado primero corteses preguntas por el bienestar. La escena subraya la etiqueta dhármica: recibir al huésped con respeto antes de iniciar cualquier conversación grave.
