Adhyāya 193: Adjudication of the Comparable Fruits of Japa and Yoga
The verse describes an ideal dharmic society: fidelity in relationships, absence of greed-driven violence, no oppression through captivity, and a mental culture free from suspicion and moral transgression.
Bharadvāja is portraying the ethical condition of a particular realm or community, emphasizing how social harmony arises when desire, greed, and adharma are absent and people remain steady in rightful conduct.
