तदनन्तर काश्यपने इन्द्रदेवका पूजन किया और उनकी आज्ञा लेकर वे पुनः अपने घरको लौट गये ।। इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि मोक्षधर्मपर्वणि शृुगालकाश्यपसंवादे अशीत्यधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
tadanantaraṁ kāśyapena indradevakaḥ pūjitaḥ, tasya cājñāṁ gṛhītvā te punaḥ svagṛhaṁ pratyāgacchan. iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi mokṣadharmaparvaṇi śṛgālakāśyapasaṁvāde aśītyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ.
Después de esto, Kaśyapa rindió culto a Indradeva; y, tras recibir su permiso, regresaron una vez más a su propio hogar. Así concluye el capítulo ciento ochenta (contado como el ciento ochenta y uno) del Śānti Parva, en la sección Mokṣadharma, en el diálogo entre el chacal y Kaśyapa.
भीष्म उवाच
