Adhyāya 180: Jīva, Śarīra, and the Fire Analogy (भृगु–भरद्वाज संवादः)
भीष्म उवाच अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । प्रह्मादस्यथ च संवादं मुनेराजगरस्य च,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--राजन्! इस विषयमें भी प्रह्लाद तथा अजगरवृत्तिसे रहनेवाले एक मुनिके संवादरूप प्राचीन इतिहासका दृष्टान्त दिया जाता है
bhīṣma uvāca | atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | prahlādasya tathā ca saṁvādaṁ muner ajagarasya ca ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: «Oh Rey, también en este asunto se cita un antiguo ejemplo histórico: el diálogo entre Prahlāda y un sabio que vivía según el “modo de la pitón” (permaneciendo inmóvil y aceptando lo que llega, sin afanarse).»
