इति श्रीमहा भारते शान्तिपर्वणि आपद्धर्मपर्वणि लुब्धकस्वर्गगमने एकोनपञ्चाशदधिकशततमोड< ध्याय:,इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत आपद्धर्मपर्वमें व्याधका स्वर्गलोकमें गमनविषयक एक सौ उनचासवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi āpaddharmaparvaṇi lubdhakasvargagamane ekonapañcāśad-adhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ |
Bhishma concluye: «Así, en el venerable Mahabharata, dentro del Shanti Parva—en particular, en la sección sobre la conducta en tiempos de aflicción (Āpaddharma)—termina el capítulo ciento cuarenta y nueve, relativo al ascenso del cazador al cielo».
