The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
कृतबुद्धि्द्रूमे तस्मिन् वस्तुं तां रजनी ततः । साञ्जलि: प्रणतिं कृत्वा वाक्यमाह वनस्पतिम्
kṛtabuddhidrūme tasmin vastuṃ tāṃ rajanī tataḥ | sāñjaliḥ praṇatiṃ kṛtvā vākyam āha vanaspatim ||
Entonces, resuelta a pasar allí aquella noche, se acercó a ese árbol—descrito como un «árbol de entendimiento firme». Con las manos juntas en reverencia y tras inclinarse, se dirigió al señor del bosque con palabras respetuosas.
भीष्म उवाच
