Draupadī’s Exhortation on Rājadharma and Daṇḍa (द्रौपद्याः राजधर्मोपदेशः)
त्वं तु सर्वा महीं त्यक्त्वा कुरुषे स््वयमापदम् । ये सब लोग आपको समझानेका प्रयत्न कर रहे हैं
tvaṃ tu sarvāṃ mahīṃ tyaktvā kuruṣe svayam āpadam |
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Y sin embargo tú, abandonando la tierra entera—la soberanía del mundo—estás atrayendo la calamidad sobre tu propia cabeza. Aunque muchos se esfuerzan por aconsejarte, no les prestas atención; lo que digo ahora no es falso. Al renunciar al reino de toda la tierra, estás creando deliberadamente tu propia desventura.»
