Sandhi–Vigraha in Āpada: The Mouse and the Cat (सन्धिविग्रहापदि—मूषकमार्जारसंवादः)

आरण्यकानू प्रव्रजितान्‌ ब्राह्मणान्‌ परिपूजयन्‌ । अपि तेभ्यो गृहान्‌ गत्वा निनाय सततं वने,वह वनमें रहनेवाले वानप्रस्थ और संन्यासी ब्राह्मणोंकी पूजा करता और प्रतिदिन उनके घरमें जाकर उनके लिये अन्न आदि वस्तुएँ पहुँचा देता था

āraṇyakānū pravrajitān brāhmaṇān paripūjayan | api tebhyo gṛhān gatvā nināya satataṃ vane ||

Dijo Bhīṣma: Honraba a los brāhmaṇas que moraban en el bosque—tanto a los vānaprasthas como a los renunciantes—y, yendo incluso a sus moradas, les llevaba con regularidad provisiones, mientras él mismo vivía continuamente en la selva.
