Ānṛśaṃsya, Amātya-Guṇa, and Reconciliatory Counsel (आनृशंस्य–अमात्यगुण–संधि-उपदेशः)
इत्युक्त: प्रत्युवाचेदं वचन ब्राह्मणर्षभम् । प्रतिपूज्याभिसत्कृत्य पूजाहमनुमान्य च
ity uktaḥ pratyuvācedaṃ vacanaṃ brāhmaṇarṣabham | pratipūjyābhisatkṛtya pūjāham anumānya ca ||
Dijo Bhishma: Así interpelado, el rey respondió con estas palabras a aquel Brahmán excelso. Tras honrarlo primero, recibirlo con el debido respeto y asentir a la reverencia que se le debía, el rey habló entonces—mostrando que el consejo conforme al dharma no ha de encontrarse con soberbia, sino con humildad, hospitalidad y aceptación voluntaria del deber sagrado.
