एवं कुर्यान्नरो यो हि स वै संजय पूजित: । “संजय! जो अपने तेजसे तप रहा हो
evaṁ kuryān naro yo hi sa vai saṁjaya pūjitaḥ |
Dijo Sañjaya: «¡Oh, Sañjaya! Solo el hombre que obra de este modo es verdaderamente digno de honor. Pues cuando el enemigo arde en poder, es servido por la fortuna real y se halla en medio de sus parientes y aliados que lo sostienen, solo el valiente auténtico puede tratar con él según lo prescrito. ¿Qué grandeza hay en golpear a quien ya está muerto?»
