न वैमनस्यं तस्यास्तु मुखभेदो5थवाभवत्‌ | शरीरमग्निना55दीप्य जलमध्ये यथा स्थिता

Transliteration

na vaimanasyam tasyāstu mukhabhedo 'thavābhavat | śarīram agninā dīpya jalamadhye yathā sthitā ||

Translation

Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: En ella no surgió abatimiento alguno, ni se advirtió cambio en su semblante. Aunque su cuerpo ardía en el fuego, permaneció serena—como quien está de pie dentro del agua—sin que su mente ni su resplandor exterior se turbaran.
