।। तत्र स्नात्वा च दत्त्वा च वसूनि विविधानि च
tatra snātvā ca dattvā ca vasūni vividhāni ca
Allí, tras bañarse y hacer también ofrendas—entregando diversas clases de riqueza—cumplió los actos acostumbrados de purificación y generosidad, afirmando el dharma mediante la caridad aun en la áspera resaca de la guerra.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharma expressed through purification and dāna (charitable giving): after undertaking a cleansing act, one should also support others through gifts, reinforcing moral order even in difficult times.
