अभिषिच्य ततो देवा वरुणं यादसां पतिम्‌

Transliteration

abhiṣicya tato devā varuṇaṃ yādasāṃ patim

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dijo: Entonces los dioses realizaron la consagración e instalaron a Varuṇa—señor de los seres acuáticos—como soberano de las aguas. El acto subraya un principio dhármico del orden cósmico: la autoridad se afirma ritualmente y se asigna según la función, para que los dominios del mundo permanezcan gobernados y en equilibrio.
