Indra–Namuci Expiation
हतवीरा यथा नारी साभवद् दु:खिता भृशम् | ब्रूहि किं करवाणीति प्रोवाच मुनिसत्तमम्,जिसका पति मारा गया हो उस विधवा नारीके समान वह अत्यन्त दुःखी हो गयी और उन मुनिश्रेष्ठसे बोली--'प्रभो! बताइये, मैं आपकी किस आज्ञाका पालन करूँ?”
hatavīrā yathā nārī sābhavad duḥkhitā bhṛśam | brūhi kiṁ karavāṇīti provāca munisattamam ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Como una mujer privada de su esposo, quedó sumida en un dolor inmenso. Entonces se dirigió al más excelso de los sabios: «Señor, decidme: ¿qué debo hacer? ¿Cuál de vuestras órdenes he de cumplir?»
