Baka Dālbhya at Avakīrṇa-tīrtha: Rāṣṭra-kṣaya and Release through Prasāda (Śalya-parva, Adhyāya 40)
विचचार महीं कृत्स्नां कृतकाम: सुरोपम: । उस उग्र तपस्याके द्वारा ब्राह्मणत्व पाकर सफलमनोरथ हुए महायशस्वी विश्वामित्र देवताके समान समस्त भूमण्डलमें विचरने लगे
vicacāra mahīṁ kṛtsnāṁ kṛtakāmaḥ suropamaḥ |
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: Cumplido su propósito y espléndido como un dios, recorrió la tierra entera. Por austeridades feroces alcanzó la condición de brāhmaṇa; y el ilustre Viśvāmitra, con su deseo consumado, anduvo por todo el mundo.
वैशग्पायन उवाच
Steadfast tapas and disciplined striving, when aligned with a worthy goal, can lead to profound inner and social transformation—here symbolized by attaining brāhmaṇatva and a godlike stature.
The narrator states that Viśvāmitra, having achieved his aim through intense austerities and becoming successful in his endeavor, roams across the whole earth with a godlike presence.
