प्राहिणोत् सहदेवाय सा मोघा न््यपतद् भुवि | उस खड्गको कटा हुआ देख शकुनिने सहदेवपर एक विशाल गदा चलायी; परंतु वह विफल होकर पृथ्वीपर गिर पड़ी
prāhiṇot sahadevāya sā moghā nyapatad bhuvi |
Sañjaya dijo: Al ver su espada cercenada, Shakuni arrojó contra Sahadeva una enorme maza; pero el golpe fue en vano y cayó inofensiva a tierra—imagen de una agresión frustrada en el caos de la batalla, donde la pericia y el destino juntos deciden el fruto de la intención violenta.
