भीमसेनस्य कौरवसुतवधः तथा श्रुतर्वावधः
Slaying of Kaurava princes and the fall of Śrutarvā
आप्लुत्य पाण्डवानीकं पुनर्युद्धमरोचयन् । प्रजानाथ! कुछ लोग अपने रथकी रणसामग्रीसे सुसज्जित करके पाण्डव-सेनापर चढ़ आते और अपनी प्रधानताके अनुसार किसी श्रेष्ठ वीरके साथ जूझना पसंद करते थे ।।
sañjaya uvāca | āplutya pāṇḍavānīkaṃ punar yuddham arocayan | te śūrāḥ kiḍkiṇījālaiḥ samācchannā babhāsire ||
Sañjaya dijo: Al irrumpir sobre el ejército de los Pāṇḍava, volvieron a escoger la batalla. Aquellos héroes, con sus carros provistos de pertrechos de guerra y cubiertos de redes de campanillas tintineantes, resplandecían—cada cual, según su rango y su valor, deseoso de medirse con un guerrero eminente.
