स यात्वा वाहिनी तूर्णमब्रवीत् त्वरयन् युधि । युद्धयध्वमिति संहृष्टा: पुनः पुनररिंदमा:
sa yātvā vāhinīṁ tūrṇam abravīt tvarayan yudhi | yudhyadhvam iti saṁhṛṣṭāḥ punaḥ punar ariṁdamāḥ ||
Sañjaya dijo: Tras llegar con presteza al ejército, en medio del combate los apremió y proclamó una y otra vez: «¡Luchad!». Así, los guerreros domadores del enemigo, encendidos de entusiasmo, fueron incitados repetidamente a entrar en la refriega.
