विस्तीर्णा योजनशतं शतमध्यर्धमायता । वैहायसी कामगमा पञ्चयोजनमुच्छिता,उसकी लंबाई डेढ़ सौ और चौड़ाई सौ योजनकी है। वह आकाशगमें विचरनेवाली और इच्छाके अनुसार तीव्र या मन्द गतिसे चलनेवाली है। उसकी ऊँचाई भी पाँच योजनकी है

Transliteration

vistīrṇā yojanaśataṁ śatam-adhyardham āyatā | vaihāyasī kāmagamā pañcayojanam ucchritā ||

Translation

Nārada describe un prodigioso vehículo aéreo: tiene cien yojanas de ancho y ciento cincuenta de largo. Se desplaza por el cielo según la voluntad del que lo monta—rápido o lento, como se desee—y se eleva hasta una altura de cinco yojanas. El pasaje subraya la escala y el poder extraordinarios de tales recursos reales o divinos, que en la narración de la Sabha son signos de prosperidad y prestigio, y también pruebas de templanza y recto uso.
