Adhyāya 33: Antarvedī-Samāgama, Arghya-Nirṇaya, and Śiśupāla’s Objection
अधियज्ञांश्न॒ सम्भारान् धौम्योक्तान् क्षिप्रमेव हि । समानयमन्तु पुरुषा यथायोगं यथाक्रमम्
adhiyajñāṁś ca sambhārān dhaumyoktān kṣipram eva hi | samānayantu puruṣā yathāyogaṁ yathākramam ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Que los hombres traigan sin demora los pertrechos del sacrificio—los miembros mismos del rito—tal como los ha prescrito Dhaumya. Que se obtengan y se dispongan con la debida idoneidad y en el orden correcto».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Sacred undertakings require prompt, orderly preparation and adherence to competent guidance; dharma is upheld through correct procedure (yathāyogam) and proper sequence (yathākramam).
Vaiśampāyana reports an instruction that attendants should swiftly procure and assemble all sacrificial materials, specifically those prescribed by Dhaumya, arranging them appropriately and in the correct order for the yajña.
