Adhyāya 33: Antarvedī-Samāgama, Arghya-Nirṇaya, and Śiśupāla’s Objection
अस्मिन् क्रतौ यथोक्तानि यज्ञाड़नि द्विजातिभि: । तथोपकरणं सर्व मड़लानि च सर्वश:
asmin kratau yathoktāni yajñāṅgāni dvijātibhiḥ | tathopakaraṇaṃ sarvaṃ maṅgalāni ca sarvaśaḥ ||
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: «En este sacrificio, que se reúnan todos los requisitos rituales tal como los han prescrito los dos veces nacidos (bráhmanas), junto con cada instrumento necesario y todos los objetos auspiciosos, en todo sentido».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Ritual action should be performed in alignment with authoritative instruction (yathokta), with completeness and careful preparation; ethical discipline here is expressed as fidelity to prescribed dharma and avoidance of negligence.
The narrator describes arrangements for a sacrifice: all sacrificial components, implements, and auspicious materials are to be assembled as the Brāhmaṇas have directed, emphasizing systematic readiness for the rite.
