अर्जुनस्य दिग्विजयारम्भः — Arjuna Initiates the Northern Campaign and Secures Bhagadattta’s Tribute
ततस्तौ नरशार्दूलौ बाहुशस्त्रौ समीयतु: । वीरौ परमसंहृष्टावन्योन्यजयकड्क्षिणौ
tatastau naraśārdūlau bāhuśastrau samīyataḥ | vīrau paramasaṁhṛṣṭāv anyonyajayakāṅkṣiṇau ||
Entonces aquellos dos héroes, leones entre los hombres, se cerraron el uno contra el otro, haciendo de sus propios brazos sus armas. Exultantes y ansiosos de vencerse mutuamente, se trabaron en lucha cuerpo a cuerpo.
