सावित्री दुर्गतरणी वाणी सप्तविधा तथा । मेधा धृति: श्रुतिश्वैव प्रज्ञा बुद्धिर्यश: क्षमा
sāvitrī durgataraṇī vāṇī saptavidhā tathā | medhā dhṛtiḥ śrutiś caiva prajñā buddhir yaśaḥ kṣamā ||
Nārada dijo: «Savitrī—la fuerza que hace cruzar los tramos difíciles; la Palabra sagrada en siete formas; y también la inteligencia, la firmeza, el saber revelado (śruti), el discernimiento, la comprensión, la fama y la paciencia—éstos son dones divinos que deben venerarse, pues sostienen al hombre en las pruebas de la vida y en la búsqueda del dharma».
