Vasudeva–Arjuna Dialogue in the Aftermath of Dvārakā

तत: शेषं समादाय कलत्रस्य महामति: । हृतभूयिष्ठरत्नस्य कुरुक्षेत्रमवातरत्‌,फिर अपहरणसे बची हुई स्त्रियों और जिनका अधिक भाग लूट लिया गया था ऐसे बचे-खुचे रत्नोंको साथ लेकर परम बुद्धिमान्‌ अर्जुन कुरुक्षेत्रमें उतरे

tataḥ śeṣaṃ samādāya kalatrasya mahāmatiḥ | hṛtabhūyiṣṭharatnasya kuru-kṣetram avātarat ||

Entonces Arjuna, el magnánimo, tomando consigo lo que quedaba de las mujeres y las pocas riquezas que restaron tras el saqueo de casi todo, descendió a Kurukṣetra—cargando el peso moral de amparar a los vulnerables en medio del derrumbe del orden tras el fin de los Yādavas.
