तौ तु स्थितौ महाराज समरे युद्धशालिनौ । अन्योन्यं प्रतिसंरब्धावन्योन्यवधकाड्क्षिणौ,महाराज! युद्धमें शोभा पानेवाले वे दोनों वीर परस्पर कुपित हो एक-दूसरेके वधकी इच्छासे संग्रामके लिये खड़े हुए थे

Transliteration

tau tu sthitau mahārāja samare yuddhaśālinau | anyonyaṃ pratisaṃrabdhāv anyonyavadhakāṅkṣiṇau ||

Translation

Dijo Sañjaya: «Oh Rey, aquellos dos héroes—resplandecientes en la batalla—se plantaron frente a frente en el campo de guerra, enfurecidos el uno contra el otro y deseosos de darse muerte.»
