भीम: क्रोधाग्निरक्ताक्ष: क्रुद्धः काल इवाबभौ | उन महारथियोंके चलाये हुए बाणोंद्वारा चारों ओरसे रोके जानेपर भीमसेनकी आँखें क्रोधसे लाल हो गयीं और वे कुपित हुए कालके समान प्रतीत होने लगे
bhīmaḥ krodhāgniraktākṣaḥ kruddhaḥ kāla ivābabhau |
Dijo Sañjaya: Bhīma, con los ojos enrojecidos como encendidos por el fuego de la ira, estalló en furor y pareció Kāla (la Muerte) en persona. Aunque los dardos de aquellos grandes guerreros de carro lo cercaban por todos lados, su cólera no hizo sino crecer, volviéndolo imagen de una destrucción inevitable en el campo de batalla.
