महाराज! पार्थका आना सुनते ही प्रतापी भीमसेन प्राणोंका मोह छोड़कर आपकी सेनाका मर्दन करने लगे ।।
sa vāyuvīryapratimo vāyuvegamo jave | vāyuvad vyacarad bhīmo vāyuputraḥ pratāpavān ||
Dijo Sañjaya: «Oh Rey, en cuanto oyó que Pārtha llegaba, el impetuoso Bhīmasena, dejando atrás todo apego a su propia vida, se entregó a triturar tus fuerzas. Bhīma, hijo de Vāyu, era igual al Viento en vigor y semejante a él en velocidad; por el campo de batalla se movía como el mismo Viento.»
