The verse highlights disciplined execution of duty: once a righteous objective is set in battle, attendants and leaders must act promptly and in coordination, avoiding hesitation and disorder. It also frames Arjuna’s resolve as purposeful, not impulsive—action aligned with a declared intent.
Sanjaya reports that Krishna instructs Daruka to make all preparations exactly as Arjuna has directed. Arjuna, praised as the foremost archer, urges immediate departure with the intention of confronting and killing Karna (the ‘sūtaputra’).
