प्रभो! आर्य! जो तुम्हारे-जैसा वीर न हो, ऐसा कौन पुरुष द्रोणाचार्य, भीष्म, भगदत्त, अवन्तीके राजकुमार विन्द और अनुविन्द, काम्बोजराज सुदक्षिण, महापराक्रमी श्रुतायु तथा अच्युतायुका सामना करके सकुशल रह सकता था ।।

prabho ārya yo tvādṛśo vīro na bhavet sa kaḥ pumān droṇācārya-bhīṣma-bhagadatta-avantīka-rājakumāra-vinda-anuvindān kāmboja-rāja-sudakṣiṇaṃ mahāparākramaṃ śrutāyuṃ tathācyutāyuṃ ca samāgamya sakuśalaṃ tiṣṭhet ||
tava hy astrāṇi divyāni lāghavaṃ balam eva ca |
asammohaś ca yuddheṣu vijñānasya ca santatiḥ |
prayāhi śīghraṃ govinda sūtaputra-jighāṃsayā ||
Dijo Sañjaya: «¡Oh Señor, oh noble! ¿Qué hombre, si no fuera un héroe como tú, podría enfrentarse a Droṇācārya, a Bhīṣma, a Bhagadatta, a los príncipes de Avanti Vinda y Anuvinda, al rey kámboja Sudakṣiṇa, al poderosísimo Śrutāyu y a Acyutāyu, y permanecer ileso? Tú posees armas divinas, ligereza y fuerza; en la batalla no pierdes la compostura, y mantienes un dominio ininterrumpido del saber marcial. Por eso, oh Govinda, parte de inmediato con la resolución de matar al “hijo del auriga” (Karna).»
संजय उवाच
